In our tests, the i7+ was faster and more maneuverable than our runner-up and the eufy RoboVac G30, and it removed large chunks of pet hair from all surfaces kinds, including carpeting. The biggest benefit over the eufy, though, is its self-emptying dustbin, which removes a major source of maintenance and reduces the amount of time spent cleaning.
We were also awestruck by the i7+'s compatibility Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We utilized these services to instruct the robot to begin, stop, or pause cleaning sessions and also to move around the room and even vacuum a specific area. The process of connecting the i7+ to these services was simple and easy with the iRobot Home app. When connected we were able to use the i7+'s voice commands like "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options for managing i7+ settings and evaluating performance.

The 694 is a basic robot vacuum that's an excellent choice for those who don't have lots of money to invest in a robot. It was able to remove most types of debris in our tests and would often go over the same area several times to give a thorough clean. Its flat front allows it to reach the corners and edges of walls.
Its navigation system is smart and uses iAdapt to avoid obstacles and navigate your home, but it's not equipped with the mapping capability of more sophisticated models like our top picks such as the i3+ EVO and the j7+ series. It can get stuck on phone cords or low furniture and is often unable to supply power before returning to its original location.
