Robots aren't quite as adept at picking up debris like metal screws or chunks of pasta. However, they are great at sweeping dust, pet hair, and dust. 1. Roomba iRobot i3+ from iRobot EVO

The iRobot Roomba i3+ EVO is a fantastic robot vacuum that comes with a range of clever features that make it more easy to maintain than other models. The automatic bin emptying feature is one of the most impressive features we've seen in a robot vacuum. It's great on both carpets and hard floors. The app guides you through the entire process. It's also easy to use and set up. Another feature that is impressive is the ability to return to the spot where it began in our tests. It did this for 77 mins on one cleaning, before running out of battery.

In contrast to other robovacs we've tested, the i3+ EVO features an automatic emptying bin that dumps debris into an external dirt compartment on the base of its charging when it's full. This makes it easier to maintain the unit and also helps prevent the i3+ EVO from overfilling, however it still needs to be manually empty after each cleaning session. The i3+ EVO dustbin can hold 2.4L which is enough to last through four to five cleaning sessions.

Like the i7, this model uses state-of-the-art floor sensors to create maps and navigate neat rows. The i3+ EVO can only keep one map, whereas the i7 is able to store multiple. The i7 can also make use of its map to create no-go zones and virtual barriers, however the i3+ EVO can't.

While the i3+ EVO is more effective at picking up dirt and debris from surfaces than the other robovacs that we tested but it's not the best when it comes to cleaning edges and corners. It is also less gentle on furniture despite being relatively quiet. It pulled chairs away from walls, and made some collisions with the sides of our test bed, and also was stuck to cords and toys during our testing.

Whether you're expanding your robot vacuum collection or are just starting out, the Q5 Pro is a great choice. It features an elegant design, powerful navigation, and useful automation at a reasonable price. It's the best value for the money on the market right now and even beats some Roborock models that are more expensive in a variety of ways.

Its 240-minute runtime is also quite generous in comparison to other robots we've tested. If the battery is empty it goes back to its dock and automatically recharges, before starting cleaning where it left off. This is one of the first robots we've seen to incorporate 3D mapping. This, along with other advancements, allows it to excel in our mopping and vacuuming tests. You can schedule cleanings and create no-go zones. You can also see the battery status. The app is simple to use, but it does not support Apple HomeKit. This feature is scheduled to be added in 2025. This model utilizes an internal dToF LiDAR sensor to create a map of your home, resulting in efficient cleaning routes. The iMop received high marks for its coverage and navigation. It also did an excellent job of avoiding obstacles such as furniture. It is also able to find its way back to the base station if it runs out of batteries during cleaning.



The spot cleaning mode allows you to clean a certain space on your floor. It can also be manually programmed to follow a certain route. This is great if you have narrow hallways or stairs. In our carpet cleaning test it did a good job cleaning carpets. However,  robot vacuum deals  had a difficult time to clean carpets and rugs with larger piles. It can be set up to lift the mop pad automatically when it comes in contact with carpet. This is a great option for those looking to avoid having to mop their carpets.

The iMop has an onboard dustbin as well as a water tank that emptys at the end of each cleaning session. The dust bin on board can hold up to 2.5 liters of debris. It will only require emptying after a couple of cleaning cycles. The water tank can handle about a dozen mopping sessions before it runs out. The iMop is more easy to maintain and clean than the average robot cleaner, which could be a major selling point for busy households.

The iMop smartphone app is easy-to-use and comes with a variety of configuration options. It has multiple suction settings as well as mopping settings, and scheduling.
